Take a walk along the harbour...

Anchored at the heart of the Capital City, Port-Louis, Le Caudan Waterfront is a unique concept in Mauritius. Since its opening in 1996, it has shown undeniable know-how and expertise in commercial activities and entertainment. On top of being a must for shopping, Le Caudan Waterfront is also a business centre, a melting pot for local artists and the favourite meeting place for gastronomes, tourists and locals looking for leisure and entertainment.
At Le Caudan Waterfront, one can meet friends for a drink, take a walk along the harbour, watch the latest movie, listen to music, enjoy a meal, try one's luck at the casino and admire artists' work while enjoying shopping. The complex’s capacity to have such a dynamic and heterogeneous offer confers a strong sociological dimension to Le Caudan. The commercial centre also offers easy parking facilities. A highly efficient security system managed by Caudan Security Services ensures safety throughout the alleys and commercial space.

Le Caudan Waterfront’s harmonious architecture dictates the spirit of the complex, which includes Barkly Wharf, Le Pavillon, L’Observatoire, Dias Pier, the Food Court and the Casino. It is a perfect blend of historical structures and modern architecture as well as of distinct ambiences from one building to another.
Historical Mauritius revisited

Several popular spots of Le Caudan Waterfront bear a strong historical significance. The first meteorological observatory of the Indian Ocean now hosts the Food Court and the Namasté restaurant. The building hosting the Blue Penny Museum, one of the prime elements of the Mauritian cultural scene, was the former United Docks office.
