KAPORAL, a reference in the denim universe.
2004 was the year when Laurent Emsellem decided to create a new brand aimed at trendy youth: KAPORAL. His collections surf between the "roots" spirit of denim and the contemporary fashion trends. Since then, the brand has largely made its mark in the fashion industry by its denims. Very quickly, Kaporal has acquired a very strong public fame. Kaporal sells through more than 1000 multi-brand retailers, 27 own-brand stores and is now developing a network of franchise outlets with 20 stores. In 2010, the company estimate the turnover to reach EUR 75 million & made 10% of its turnover abroad.
Philosophy
KAPORAL explores all different periods of the vintage and search his inspiration in the american spirit. The brand reinvents classics, translating vintage designs into modernity. Themes as hawai, rock n'roll, army spirit, workers are approached.
Highlights or the winter 2010-11 and summer 2011 collections, KAPORAL was promoted by the famous footballer Didier Drogba.
The company plans to develop tight and close relations with its foreign partners. KAPORAL trades in over 30 countries(South America, Japan, in the United Arab Emirates, ...). In 2011, Kaporal is opening own-brand stores in Dubai, Belgium and Spain. In France, 20 shops will be opened.
